Everyone is welcome – we are an inclusive community for anyone who is passionate about tech and diversity in the industry. We value your involvement and want to ensure we can create a positive and welcoming environment for all.
We do not tolerate any form of harassment or abuse. Harassment includes, but is not limited to derogatory comments or actions relating to gender, race, age, sexual orientation, disability or physical appearance.
Sexualised language, humour or imagery is not appropriate at events or in our online community.
If you are made to feel uncomfortable or you experience inappropriate behaviour at a WiT York event please inform an ambassador or email womenintechyork@gmail.com. We will support you in reporting such behaviour as appropriate.
Please treat event facilities with respect.
Please do not make unsolicited approaches to attendees about jobs. If you wish to promote a role you can do so on our Jobs channel on Slack, or email womenintechyork@gmail.com for information about our next careers event.
All attendees, speakers, ambassadors & venues are expected to comply with our code of conduct. If you do not comply, WiT York reserves the right to ask you to leave the event. WiT York may also deny entry to future events and remove access (block) from any social media and online communities managed by WiT York.
